The country pearl of Africa, also recently branded gifted by nature is among the top safari destinations in Africa.The mountain gorilla of Africa is one of the most endangered species of the world today. Only about 700 mountain gorillas are left in Africa and only in two countries, namely, Uganda and Rwanda in the tropical forests of Africa, Bwindi, Mgahinga and Parc De Volcanoes.Animals found here include Impala, buffalo, zebra, eland, topi, duiker, waterbuck, klipspringer, rock hyrax, crocodile and hippo. 315 water and dry land species bird species is recorded including shoebill stork, the Abyssinian ground hornbill, and the saddle bill stork.
